For Page and Screen Interviews Yours Truly

A New Author Interview by For Page and Screen
I am thrilled to announce A New Author Interview just released by For Page and Screen Magazine. Recently, I was interviewed by For Page and Screen Editor Sarah E. We discussed theater, fiction, and making funny character faces. We weighed the difference between stage scripts and short stories, related the trials and rewards of collaborative writing, and generally had a good old time.
My one-act stage script Best Guy on the Crew was published by For Page and Screen Magazine in January of this year. Best Guy on the Crew is a retelling of the tribulations of Job, set amidst the machinations of a mafia crew. A New Author Interview is a follow-up to that ribald stage play.

For Page and Screen Magazine…
This is not your ordinary Lit-Zine. For Page and Screen is one of the few literary magazines that supports and publishes stage scripts. I am grateful to the editors for taking a chance on my one-act play Best Guy on the Crew. Just as they support poor scribbles like me, you can support these fine folks (and Yours Truly) by giving their website a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

Donner und Blitz…
No, not the reindeer. It’s all sturm und drang here in Northern Yurp as summer heat brings afternoon thunderstorms. Big ones! Just the thing for a Midwest kid so far from his birthplace. There’s more than thunder and lightning rumbling through the MEF garret. Stories being crafted, stories being submitted, the backhand of rejections, and the welcome embrace of an acceptance. In other words, more stories on the horizon, my friends.
How will you know when a new story breaks? Glad you asked, Friends. Read On! Drum roll and… Meanwhile, don’t miss any upcoming stories. You can stay tuned for all the latest by following the MEF blog:

And finally, with your indulgence, allow me a blatant book plug. Even writers need to eat. So please, buy a damn book. Thanks!
Breaking the Bundles

The Past Can Kill.
Vienna, Austria, a city of palaces, music, and cafés. But behind the cold, grey stone lies a dark secret. Against this backdrop of culture and shadows, the fates of three unforgettable people will be drawn into a common peril. As the lives of the characters cross, revenge shifts to passion, betrayal becomes an act of honor, and the past exacts a heavy toll from the present. The secrets of the past threaten the lives of those that hold them; the same secrets threaten the men who work in the shadows. The weight of the past will pursue Perry and Zita across two continents, threatening their love and their lives. The chase becomes a conflict of revenge and desire, of shadow and light, of love and the struggle to survive.
