Bernoulli Weights it Out – The Progenitor Launch Party

Live Author Reading – The Progenitor Launch Party

Live Author Reading! Greetings to my wonderful readers! Last week, I gave a live reading at a literary launch party celebrating the latest issue of Progenitor. Progenitor is a beautiful literary magazine produced by the students and faculty of the Arapahoe Community College. My ten-minute stage play Bernoulli Weighs it Out was accepted for inclusion in Volume 56 of this fine journal. And, lucky me, I was invited to read a bit of my work.

The launch party kicked off at 5:30 PM Mountain Time. Simple enough, except that’s roughly O’Dark-Thirty here in beautiful Vienna, Austria. As a result, sleep deprivation reared it’s ugly head. The drama readings were at the back of the pack, so my reading slot didn’t roll around until 3:07 in the AM. The middle of the night is a dubious time to deliver a chipper reading. Nonetheless, I endeavored to persevere, diving into my four-minute excerpt from Bernoulli Weighs it Out.

The recorded event is available for your viewing pleasure. Sleep issues notwithstanding, the staff Progenitor staff say I “crushed it.” Lucky you, through the miracle of the internet, you can watch the recording and judge for yourselves.

Watch the Live Author Reading!

You can watch the whole shindig from the comfort of your own private lair! The launch party is available on Zoom. Feel free to watch the whole event, but If you want to cheat, you can skip to my reading in the drama section. My reading appears near the very end of the festivities.

Here is the link to the recording and the passcode for viewing the launch. Please feel free to share with whomever you’d like! Sharing is caring!
